Another very easy project that requires very few supplies.
- 1x6x8 piece of hardwood (I used poplar)
- small can of stain and cheap paintbrush
- Sharpie
- number stencils
First, I lightly sanded the wood and stained it. I drew the measurements on with pencil and traced the numbers on using the stencils. I traced over the lines and colored in the numbers with a black Sharpie. I used picture hooks on the back for easy hanging.
**Important tip**
If you plan to hang it on a wall, don’t start the ruler at zero…As you can see mine started at 6 inches so when I hung it on the wall it was 6 inches off the ground.
